To avoid hijacking the OP's thread I'll post the pics in its own thread. This is a rifle by Michael McHugh. It has a swamped 44" .54cal. barrel. It is a C weight so it is light and handy for its length. The lock is a Davis. It is a version of a Martin Shell rifle of the Dauphin county area. Doesn't appear to have been fired. Barrel is clean and the frizzen still has some browning on it. The touch hole hasn't been drilled, and the sights are stock.
