Miroku Brown Bess Musket .75 Caliber
42" barrel, weighs 9lbs. Clean smooth bore. Lock works well and the trigger is actually nicer than my other Miroku Bess. Frizzen shows no wear, I think it was carried and handled a bunch but not shot. Has wear from rubbing against someone's belt and small dings and scratches here and there.
Unfortunately it has some damage to the lock mortise. You can see the crack in the pictures and there is a small chunk of the wood missing. I had planned to fix it and put it back in service but I'm thinning out my herd of projects. Should be an easy fix and a satisfying project for somebody and you'll have a Bess for a little less when you're done!
