i was wondering how long could it be before your gun fires after it doesnt fire when you shoot? a couple secs or 10 secs or what?also whats a hang fire,whats a missfire?

You answered your own question a hang fire can be many seconds or a milisecond longer than instant. A misfire is just that it didn't fire.
