I used my ML during reg rifle season and got one, first time for me and it was great. We have a ML season that starts Saturday but i`m into bowhunting at that time so i decided to use the ML during the rifle season. Next year i may buy the all season license and go Archery, revolver during rifle season, and Ml.

I routinely use MLs during the regular gun season. I only use my bolts when there is a very long shot situation and they cry out to me that they are sad and lonely since I spend so much time with the MLs.

(I always listen to the voices, but sometimes, I tell them, "No")

Here's a regular firearms season muzzleloader success. I only wish that I had been using a flinter that day.

I have hunted whitetails with a muzzleloader for the past 25 years. This was way before we had a special season in NY. I've always used a muzzleloader during the regular season in NY. I took my first whitail with a 12 guage. The following year I went with the Hawkins and have never looked back. I just built a smoothbore to hunt smallgame and birds. I don't think I'll ever hunt with a modern gun again.

Rifle season starts tomorrow here in Pa. It will be the ML for me. The Longbow will be in the truck for {just in case} a back-up.

I carried my ML for 7 of the nine day gun season here in Wisconsin. Now we are into our 10 day ML season and I'm still using the same gun. Wisconsins DNR says we have too many deer. Doe tags are only $2 and this gives me a chance to experiment with different bullets. The 390 gr Hornaday great plains bullet out of my 54 TC with 120 grains of Tripple Seven 2F Hawken does the job.
