Anyone else notice how the price of ML parts have gone nuts (with everything else)?. For instance I bought a Chambers Large Flintlock not 6 month ago and begrudgingly paid a whopping $195 for it. That same lock is now $250!!!!. Kinda takes fun right out of the hobby.

I see even used stuff is way up. The new tax laws and shipping hikes may make stuff completely unaffordable to the less than rich.

I searched everywhere on the web for a small Siler flintlock and all were out of stock And were priced at $250 finally Chambers had some so the price is high but I was so happy to find one I paid the price

You know Jim Chambers bought out Bud Siler some years ago. So he would be the 1st place to look for Siler locks and parts

Don’t think for a minute that it’s not going to go even higher by years end.

I recently built a rifle from parts. Deercreek Products had pretty much everything I needed and ordered from them. I did look at ebay for the same parts which were listed for sale but every part was at least double the price from what Deercreek wanted. So you definitely have to shop around.

Was on way to the ML shop in Springfield. Just paid (extorted) $5.85 for diesel near Eugene OR. Had to use card twice for 2 consecutive purchases of 12 gallons each as pump won't let you charge more than $74 at a time. So thats $148 for 24 gallons and still did not fill my 35 gallon tank. Think this dodge will be sitting for a while.

Make sure you park it somewhere safe. Thieves here in Utah are even drilling holes in the bottoms of gas tanks to steal fuel. The dirty beggars have a choice now they’ve been stealing catalytic converter‘s or ruin your gas tank to get a couple gallons of gas.

The very high price of muzzleloader parts has little or nothing to do with either taxes or shipping costs. It's about greed and ripping people off.
Sorry I have to disagree with you here. There may be other factors as you suggest but Bidenflation and oil prices affect the price of everything especially shipping.
