I have purchased a Pedersoli double shotgun that is in excellent condition. However since it is several years old I want to clean the locks and trigger. Need some help regarding disassembly- remove triggers or locks first? Triggers seem to fit very tightly.

GreenMt nailed it. That will get your shotgun disassembled. A trick of mine for doing a very good and quick cleaning of a lock is to use a spray can of either carburetor cleaner or brake cleaner from your local auto parts store. Take the locks outside and flush them with the spray. It really does an exceptional job of cleaning them of all crud but it also removes all oil so you will have to re-oil your locks after using the spray cleaner. When you oil your locks, do not use a grease, use a good light machine oil such as 3 in 1 but be frugal with the oil. Just a drop on the moving parts. Too much oil will not improve the lubrication but just collect dirt. A drop will do it.
