I'm like the others.The only one I own is a .54 cal. Colerain barrel 44" long, modified Siler lock, double set triggers, and built by Rod Gates.
All of my flinters are more accurate than I am. Been shooting cap guns for thirty years but don't have that much experience with flintlocks. Working on it though but still haven't gotten good at tuning them yet. I do have a Kentuckian .45 with 28 inch barrel that shoots squirrel loads very accurately.
I scored a tie for first honors at our club Woodswalk a couple weeks ago using my Pecatonica build Verner style .45 flintlock. Split a ball on an axe head at twenty yards (and breaking both clays on either side) and followed that by hitting the dinner triangle at the same distance. Missed two targets in all but it was fun. That rifle was out preforming me!

I really can't say which one is the best! I can say which one is the worst and it is not the barrels fault. My builds have my own made slot rear sights which work well for my eyes. The worst gun is a factory Italian, good ignition, but has a piss poor large rear V sight. Like lining up a horse shoe with a nail.

My most accurate is a Lyman Deerstalker. Shoots cloverleafs at 100 yds. That is off sandbags, not freehand.
Mine is a JP Gunstocks .58 caliber flintlock hawken with 34" barrel and 1:72" twist. Near one hole groups at 50 yards. The groups open up to about 1" at 75 which is as far as I can shoot accurately with open sights and aging eyes.
I don't know which is the most accurate as i have not started my load testing yet. I am just getting some fair weather to shoot in. Scout .45 RH Pedersoli

Hands down for me is my 54 cal GRRW Hawken. It fits me well and if I do my part won't miss.
Cut the popsicle stick and split the card at Friendship Woodswalk last year. Beat everyone in my relay by 2 shots, despite 2 stupid missed shots.

My flint Signature Series Lyman/Pedersoli GPR will keep 50 yard shots within that little orange dot in the center of a shooting see target from the bench. The factory sights are a huge improvement over the Invest arms version.
mine is a early 80's cva kentucky kit, my first conversion to flint from percussion, l&r lock white lightning touch hole. i assembled it without doing anything other then fitting all the pieces. about that the wife laid into me for working on guns before finishing the bathroom remodel, me being the smart intelligent husband that i was i swore that i wouldn't finish that gun until i finished the bathroom. so i just started shooting it the way it was. it turned out to be a absolute tack driver when i could hold it solid. long story short she passed before the bathroom got finished. when the bathroom got finished i left it the way it is to this day. the kids nick named it the "BATHROOM" gun and got my only flint buck with it. i have since acquired a couple of other flints but that one still remains the way it was. the kids say that when i leave this world it will hang on the wall as a story piece.
