Here is an interesting discussion about a French cuirassier's armour said to have been worn by a cavalryman at the Battle of Waterloo. It resides in the French Army museum at Les invalides, and I have personally seen it up close. Historians are now asking questions on the authenticity of the armour - or at least the claims surrounding it. What do you all think? As it appears to have been hit by the roundshot from a cannon, I have placed this in what I hope is the relevant section. By the way, this guy Metatron has a series of very interesting videos on many historical subjects, and he seems to research his topics well.
