Mowrey Bicentennial Rifle Part Needed

I have a Mowrey Bicentennial Rifle and need the small silver connecting rectangular ring that connects the large "C" spring to the trigger block. Any recommendations/suggestions?

I would make one from a piece of flat stock. A drill and several size files would do it. Any competent blacksmith/gunsmith could make one for you. I forged a main spring for a friend some years ago.

Tried Deer Creek, all they had were round washers...

I'm trying to figure out why you need to replace that mainspring link in the picture.

I'm with @bpd303. You could whittle that out of a piece of 1/8" material right quick.

I bought 2 kits and one of the kits was missing the Main (C) Spring, Trigger Spring, and that small Link.

I was able to purchase the 2 springs but the only link they had was a round washer type link.

When I was at the Hardware Store, the young man suggested I buy a rectangular piece of channel, then cut and file it.

I was hoping someone might know where I could find this link.

Does the round washer not fit? A file can take care of that.
