Muzzleloader Cleaning Solution

I use it in equal parts with no problems. Clean,dry oil then put away. NO RUST! :wink:

I've been using straight windshield washer fluid. Cheap and effective.

I use the solution 1-1-1. When the peroxide and alcohol evaporate you are left with a film of oil soap. I believe in short term use this film protects the metal til you can oil down or use whatever preservative you choose. At 4-5 day National skirmishs its not odd to have several fouled guns that have been given a quick clean using MAP. HOWEVER, when I'm done each one gets a thorough cleaning and lube job.
