Hey Guys,

I just moved to Williamsburg, VA from Northern Idaho.

Does anyone know of a Muzzleloader club or organization near Williamsburg? I'd like to find a few guys to shoot with.

Thanks,

Joe

Contact Williamsburg Forge. Jon Laubach is the guy, and he could probably help you. Tell him Mike from CO said hi.

I'm perty sure that the EPR is going to be held only about an hour from there in Sept.Maybe we will see you there.

Try the James River Black Powder Club (jamesriverblackpowderclub.org)

and the Olde Virginia Primitive Rifles in Surrey
(ovpr.org)

And yes, the Eastern will be in OVPR's backyard this year.

Thanks for all the info guys! I have contacted James River BP Club. They are only 1 hour from where I live.

Thanks again,

Joe

Joe,
Welcome to Williamsburg!

There are not a lot of active competative longrifle shooters here but there is a lot of interest in collecting, building, and hunting. The next local event I know of is the Southern Longrifle show on the first weekend in April. It will be a good chance for you to meet some of the local folks.

Fourth Annual Southern Longrifle Show
Holiday Inn Patriot Hotel, 3032 Richmond Rd. Williamsburg, VA
April 2nd and 3rd 2011 Request special Longrifle show rate of $69 per night
The show is sponsored by Southern Longrifles Association LLC
