I got to get out this weekend and setup a camp and do some hunting. The first morning a jumped a couple doe and got a shot on one of them. I'm really impressed with the little traditions deer hunter it's lightweight and easy to get on target even if the deer is moving. The rest of camp was great and ended up get some snow the second night.

Congrats and nice setup! I’m currently waiting on a 12X12 pyramid tent from Panther Primitive with a stove Jack. I want to get setup to hunt the way you’re doing it. Thanks for the pictures

Good times! Nice setup, i have a similar setup. My brother and I usually tent camp and hunt Thanksgiving weekend. Ive even gone by myself 2 or 3 times. We don't get a lot of deer, but it's not really about the body count. I wouldn't trade that weekend for anything.
Man I totally agree with you about that. I also do a regular firearms season camp in my large tent and it's the most relaxing time of year

Gotta bring my rig your way one day that would be cool

I have a 12"x14" tent a buddy and I used to use for several years til we both got too old and bent up to go up to the cold country to hunt. For the warm desert camp it's just a cot and bag. Warm is better and easier on these old guys.

Great setup. I do a winter camp also every year. Bought a new G Stove 2 years ago, works great. I’m not to keen on your cuisine, though. But, we are hunters & woodsmen, right, not chefs.

Got myself a short little carbine tc flintlock

Carbines ,They really are great for the easy carry and maneuvering in tight areas.

That’s definitely roughing it!!!! Man among men type hunting.
