I believe that others have stated this problem also, but the trigger on my MVTC Ketland pistol is extremely hard. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to lighten this up?

You will have to dismantle your lock and then, very carefully and lightly, stone the hammer and sear. That should at least get you started in the right direction. It may be that you also have a long travel on the sear and that could be built up so the sear doesn't go so deep into the full cock notch. Others may have more specific info as to your particular gun.

On mine the spring that presses on the trigger bar was pretty stiff, so I carefully thinned the lower part of the v spring. The trigger pull is quite nice now.
