One of the many “One that got aways” on my list is the stainless Bi-Centennial Old Army I got from my brother for 200 bucks. Shot a bunch of bullets cast from the Lee mould designed for the Old Army. Then bought the ‘accessory’ cylinder for it & shot one box of Winchester cowboy loads in 45Colt. And like so many other times, found something I thought I wanted more & sold the Ruger to financ
I can sure tell the difference between barrel stainless steel (416) I think and chrome molly when lathe turning or threading the barrels.

Ah, your always better off with a blued steel gun in my opinion , looks more natural and kept clean and oiled will never rust !
By the way stainless guns will indeed rust just not quite as fast as blued steel.
