My balls are too big

This don’t make since.how do you put more of anything in a given space than it supposed to hold ,that would be an explosion.a rubber ball expands when you add mor air but the mold doesn’t expand .I think Dusty Traveller might on to something about the cherry being to big. Maybe I should contact Lee
It has nothing to do with amount, is density what determines the weight. Same size ball made of pure lead will be heavier than that made out of any of the common alloys, including wheel weights. 😳

Pure lead balls shrink at a known rate after pouring. The only way to tell if your mold is pouring to size is to mold some pure lead and let cool to room temperature then measure. Many metals grow and shrink noticeably with heating and cooling

100% correct but density of allow doesn’t change. Manufacturers used specific alloys to determine the size of the cherry, in order to produce the product they want.
