Tain't shabby at all! Funny, but the turtle noggin and the turtle leather bag were about the first things my eyes focused on. Brain goes, "Ooh, turtle noggin cup!" Was a popular theme for the beaded Medicine bags I made, so my attention went there first! First class collection. :applause:

Gear looks great and very good photos.

When you carve a wooden cup, how is the wood treated before use?

I find it interesting you have gear like this in Poland. Are there any others there that collect the Mountain Man gear as you do?

Thanks, enjoyed the post.

Wood treated before use:
inside - linseed oil
outside - linseed oil + waxed
Linseed oil polymerizes [under the influence of light and oxygen] and then does not change the flavor, even hot liquids...

There are more of us , we even have a forum , and although it is not quite as powerful as Yours we have a place where we can share experiences ..
