I went to Kempton last week and looked around at the various vendor's tables. Jim Chambers had ball bags and bag spouts for sale. I thought about buying a complete bag but ended up buying a spout and stopper. I figured that I would try my hand at making my own. I bought a 3 pound bag of scrap leather at Hobby Lobby and made up a pattern. Doug out my Speedy Awl stitcher and went to work.
I'm happy with it considering it was my first attempt. It's just the right size for my bag. Not too big or small.
