Pilgrim, I have been following your posts, and I am on the same path, hope my Kibler comes out as well! Good job buddy
Thank you for the kind words. I wish it turned out as I envisioned it but my skill set was not up to that level of work. I am sure yours will be excellent. I hope to see Jim's shop but the trip from NC is not a short one. I hope to go to NMLRA meet in Indiana next year maybe I can schedule a stop by Jim's on that trip.I to have finished my SMR & wish it looked as good as yours! GREAT JOB!! on your first & hope to hear of many more! If you get a chance, Call Jim & set up a visit to his shop, it will be well worth your while!!!
Thank youYou did well!
Thank youOh yes, that is one sweet piece of work.
Yes, I plan on shooting it and hunting with it.You are not going to shoot that beautiful musket are you?
Not yet but I am anxious to very soon.Looks great! Have you had a chance to shoot it yet?
It is fancy. One upgrade from plain maple. Jim was very generous regarding the grain in this piece of wood. Thank you for your kind words.Beautiful. Looks like your patience paid off. What grade of maple is this?
Thank you for the kind words. I am satisfied with it as a first build.Beautiful Rifle!
Shooting and hunting are my plans, my daddy wouldn't have it any other way.You have done well, Pilgrim. The rifle looks good to me. Little mistakes (big ones too) are a part of the learning process. No one is perfect.
Now, get to shooting it. Don't make it a wall hanger.
Thank youNicely done.
Thank youVery well done
