What is the proper way to clean? I have a pedersoli sxs and I always soak it in water, wire brush and jag with a patch and pull up water through the barrel and push it out many a time after removing the nipples. There is always some rust in the very bottom of the breech. Wire brushes always have that rod through them that prevents the brush from actually cleaning the very bottom it seems. Shoots awesome but don't want to end up with an issue down the road

I made a breech scraping brush specifically for that.

I made a breech scraping brush. Threaded this and spread it out to size:
