My flinter kit came in!

Just got my kit from Larry Williams of Early Rustic Arms. Ordered a 75 cal Cumberland fowler. It's my first flinter and waiting for delivery has been worse than any Dec 25 runup. Can't believe how big a hole there is in the barrel! Despite the size it balances pretty darn good. Let you know how things go with it. GC

Sent my deposit off on 2/8. 7 weeks delivered. Larry said the kits get shipped faster than "in the whites" and completely finished units. Nice guy. Guess I'll have to start messing with a digital camera too. GC
