Here from northern lower Michigan. Picked up my first blackpowder rifle last year, a .54 TC New Englander.

Through reading the forum archives I was able to replace the beat up and mismatched sights on the gun, improve the trigger pull, work up a prb load (weekly shooting all summer) and cleanly take a doe and a shed buck this fall. It’s been very enjoyable, and I would have struggled without the wealth of knowledge available on this forum.

Looking to further my interest in blackpowder and satisfy my need to tinker with a kit, possibly flintlock, in the near future.
