I know this is an old post, but that rifle stock is amazing for a traditions kit. Did you tiger stripe it yourself or did it come with that good of a stock? I am looking at buying one for my first kit, and I have been researching forever. I mainly want to build for fun, target shooting and learning the craft. Thanks for any information.

Laurel Mountain Forge is, in my estimation, the best and simplest browning solution. It de-greases as applied, is used cold and makes a lovely finish. Just my 1 1/2 cents worth. Polecat
