I enjoy seeing the clothing from an area and time that we typically don't hear much about.

In the past I have read about the Promyshlenniki [промышленность] who trapped on our side of the Bearing Sea and down our West Coast and now I can put a face on what they may have looked like.

Andreas Gans, Augsburg um 1740. Achtkantiger, nach geschnittenem Baluster runder und glatter Lauf im Kaliber 14,5 mm mit Hakenschwanzschraube und (beriebenem) floralem Atzdekor. Eisernes Steinschloss mit Signatur "ANDREAS GANS IN AUGSBURG". Nussholzschaft mit Hornnase und gewaffeltem Kolben. Gravierte und reliefierte Messinggarnitur mit Knauf in Form eines Vogelkopfes. Originaler Holzladestock mit Horndopper. Unter Verwendung der alten Teile um 1800 neu geschaftete Pistole. Lange 35,5 cm.
