Well, I finished my Kibler Colonial 58 cal rifle. Very pleased with how it turned out. Cherry stock. Aged the brass a bit, blued barrel and lock. Finished the stock with several coats of true oil, and will let it darken naturally over time. I'm making a new ramrod out of a Cherry dowell with brass ends to better match the stock (mostly for show, I don't use a wood ramrod to shoot). Great support from Jim & team for which I am very grateful. Now to get out and shoot her tomorrow. :)

Very well done - especially striking appearance of dark barrel and lock against beautifully figured light cherry should get you many admirers and appreciative comments at the range. With all those eyes on you and your rifle just remember to keep your attention on "powder-patch-ball" 😅
