That's a beautiful rifle. Anytime you get tired of looking at it or shooting it you can toss it my direction. I'd give it a good home. LOL

Well done. You lucky devil. :v

Iowa, you have a deal! As soon as I get tired of looking at it, it's yours!
I mean, I wouldn't hold your breath though.

I've talked it over with everyone who posted here, and we have all agreed. If you promise to let us shoot it when next we see you a some event. We will all keep quiet about you laying your rifle On your Mother-in-law's WHITE knit Afghan !

Actually my mother knitted it, but the lady of house wasn't very pleased when she saw my photo shoot..... Probably not my best idea. :rotf: however I was very careful!

But you are very welcome to shoot it! I'll be heading to the range this weekend. We do cowboy action shooting there as well so the range is setup with lots of reactive metal targets. Lots of fun to hear ringing steel! The longest shot on the range is a bit over 200 yards shooting at a metal silhouette of a buffalo.

I live about and hour from TVM. Matt, Toni and Cassie are personal and rendezvous friends of mine. Despite what a small vocal few will say they are good people. Great looking rifle

I was holding my breath and got light headed. Passed out and woke up without that beautiful gun. gonna go sulk away and pout now. :rotf: :rotf:

Sorry about that Iowa! Maybe this might cheer you up!

My son and I went to the range today and shot it. All I can say is this thing accurate! We were shooting at 30 yards at first just to see where it printed... my first shot offhand was two inches left of dead center. WOW! Cant ask for better! Then moved it back to 75 yards and my spread opened up but not all that bad.
My son was a bit awkward with it at first... he had never shot anything with a long barrel like that... but he still put the ball a couple inches off center.

I put a couple quick videos on youtube of it.

Love southern mountain rifles, and yours is very nice! .36 is an ideal caliber, you get to make a lot of smoke and get lots of practice in for a relatively small amount of powder and lead. My .36 TN rifle shoots great with a full power load of 40 grains 3f, but my daughter's .36 Seneca is a tack-driver with just 25 grains. Have fun with that pretty rifle!

Great looking rifle and love the videos. Thanks for sharing them. You've got yourself a keeper right there.

:hatsoff:
