Actually my mother knitted it, but the lady of house wasn't very pleased when she saw my photo shoot..... Probably not my best idea. :rotf: however I was very careful!

But you are very welcome to shoot it! I'll be heading to the range this weekend. We do cowboy action shooting there as well so the range is setup with lots of reactive metal targets. Lots of fun to hear ringing steel! The longest shot on the range is a bit over 200 yards shooting at a metal silhouette of a buffalo.

My son and I went to the range today and shot it. All I can say is this thing accurate! We were shooting at 30 yards at first just to see where it printed... my first shot offhand was two inches left of dead center. WOW! Cant ask for better! Then moved it back to 75 yards and my spread opened up but not all that bad.
My son was a bit awkward with it at first... he had never shot anything with a long barrel like that... but he still put the ball a couple inches off center.

Love southern mountain rifles, and yours is very nice! .36 is an ideal caliber, you get to make a lot of smoke and get lots of practice in for a relatively small amount of powder and lead. My .36 TN rifle shoots great with a full power load of 40 grains 3f, but my daughter's .36 Seneca is a tack-driver with just 25 grains. Have fun with that pretty rifle! :thumbsup: :thumbsup:

I was shooting between 30 and 35 grains of 3F. It was shooting way better than I could hope for.
