Brokennocks recommendation's are correct but this is a very unfair world.
Sadly i have seen patented gun/knife/clothing items show up on market mere weeks after being unveiled at conventions like the SHOT show and even faster when on the net. Was astounded to routinely see groups of Asians taking close up pictures of all the prototypes and new items and sending them "home". I do not think they have/had any intention of obeying US/ international law and were paid to do it. I know of one item that was almost instantly knocked off and the patent holder both did not have the finances or backing of govt to fight it. Back when we sold MLs for Berretta their rep said they would not release any info on new products until they were in full production. Same for Pietta Bros, Pedersoli et al.

Unfortunately, Knock-offs are a hundred billion dollar a year industry, according to the FTC and SEC and NOT just in clothing/purses/shoes, I'm sensing a theme here. If we could get women to stop trying to out-do each other, the Asian knock off market would crumble.

If i had a small but very nice product like this i would just make them and sell them on forums like this. I would list the makers name as well as it has value. If you haven't got the $$ to protect a patent the need/usefulness of one is moot. Take a look at stuff like flint pan chargers and Faux rolexs.

I recently grabbed one of my magnets and applied a piece of black electrical tape to do the seal. The magnet sealed the touch hole of my rifle. No water leaks as I let the soapy water work on the fouling at the breech. Much better than the toothpick I used in the past.

I had a hose that clamped on a percussion nipple and did the same thing. However when I pulled the ramrod up some how water got behind the jag and was pulled up and out of the barrel. The water would drool out of the end of the barrel and drain down between the stock and the barrel. How do you keep that from happening?

Very carefully, wrap an absorbent rag or sponge around end of barrel just squeezing tight enough to allow ram rod to move freely, easy to get used to.

Make sure the patch / jag fit tight....TIGHT....in the bore. I wet the patch to start with before i run the rod down to the breech. You can tell right away if you have this set up correctly as you will push a lot of bubbles out of the tube and into the bucket on the first down stroke. After that you should not get many bubbles....just movement of water in and out of the bore through the tube.

Wrapping a rag around the muzzle is a great idea. I also tie one around the stock just below the breech in case I knock the magnet loose while I'm working. I also tuck a piece of paper towel in the lock mortise just below the touchhole / magnet...

I use a 20ga. bore-mop instead of a jag and patch in my .54 rifles. Works fine for me.

Yes....anything that will make a tight fit in the bore. The mop is a great idea !
