I know...I know he forgot to put on eye protection but he does have ear plugs in. Anyways here is a few pictures. He is hooked now wants a flintlock of his own.

I don't have a GPR, but I see your son has great joy in shooting that rifle. I can only speak for myself, but I know I have great joy when I shoot my flint locks. I know that when I let others shot my flintlock, the smiles are huge.

Very cool. I love it when one of my boys comes along with me to the range. Their brains are like sponges for the information.
 
What was the time between shots? I noticed the first two pictures showed the flash in the pan but no smoke from the barrel, the third showed a larger flash and smoke from the barrel.It would appear to have been a hang fire with the delay between the flash and actual firing.

Not sure on the time I was using my son's phone to record the video. He sent me the photos. I can tell you I can not tell the difference in ignition time between the GRP and my caplock. No hang fire that I could tell.
