Why is your Mink Oil yellow ? The last couple of cans that I bought from TOTW is white.

You probably got Ermine oil instead of Mink oil.

If they were squeezed some Ermine during the winter time, their white coat might have colored the oil white? :hmm:

One trick I use in the field is to seat a felt wad OVER the loaded ball and then lubricate the bore with whatever preservative you are used to using. The system protects the bore from corrosion for the hunting season (hopefully only 1 day on opening morning), without contaminating the powder.
