Does it have any markings? Some of these type of stocks that were commercially produced were stamped with the serial number of the pistol they attached to.

this is kind of off topic but playing off of what stantheman said about things getting hocked after you die, I can vouch for the truth of this. I have been an antique dealer for many years and buy most of my items from family members selling their dead loved ones collection. Even the greatest collection will mean nothing to your descendants if they were not involved with the collecting. The moral of this story is we have to get our kids and grandkids involved in the collecting if you want them to do anything more than just auctioning everything off when we die.
