i've been out of the loop for a while. but, has Navy Arms stopped making cap & ball revolvers? looked on DGW, and i couldn't find an 1851 Sheriff's Model in .44! so i went to NA's website and couldn't find any cap & ball revolvers.

any thoughts?

Navy Arms is an importer, not a manufacturer. They have stopped selling revolvers.

DGW was selling those almost nine months ago and then seemed to run out.. they went for $180, if i remember correctly.

i managed to score one made in 1983 from thegunworks.com in their production revolver section for $150 (used), and it has the crossed cannons trademark on the left side.. beware of imposters.
