I just wonder with all that pressure on the barrel what it is doing when you fire it. None of mine are that tight and most if you turn them over will fall out of the stock. They are snug but not so tight that I need a hammer of any kind to remove them.
those pesky wedge pins can really do some strange things when you fire the rifle.
Let us know how or what you find as you now have my interest as I wonder if you want one that tight or if the way mine are is better.
