Friends, our 2nd Amendment rights are always under attack and the NRA has been a constant for decades in helping fight that fight.
We have partnered with the NRA to offer you a discount on membership and Muzzleloading Forum gets a small percentage too of each membership, so you are supporting both the NRA and us.
Can anyone tell me what era this smoothbore would be from? What would you call this style? It appeared on the TOW site yesterday, but was apparently sold before they even listed a description.
Mike Brooks could give you a better answer, but I would say, a short smooth rifle basicly, but with mixed hardware and features. The butt has an early Lancaster look with a thicker wrist, and a fowler type trig guard. If one had to make an explanation for it, it would be an 18thC gun rebuilt in the 19th C. to what it is. Just my opinion, sort of a fantasy gun. But appears well done as far as workmanship goes.
