I've been looking at a couple of Panther's tents, the Regeant pavillion, and the double belled wedge. I've had some great advice concerning the regeant, (the more accurate 18th century tent) but I thought I'd tap the collective wisdom of this group in the feasability of the dbl belled wedge. it looks like it would set up easily enough, and would be a good woods tent, but I've never seen any documentation for it.
My other possibility is Tentsmith's midi pavilion. but I fear it would be as cumbersome as the Regeant for setting one-handed solo.

Hello,

I just found the forum. I have both a regent and the Double bell wedge from panther and both are great tents. I am not sure as far as PC of each i use them mainly for 15th century re-enacting I am just starting to do the 18th century stuff. As far as set up goes the double bell is a snap stake out the 4 main corners and it is selfstanding the regent alil more difficult but still simple enough. I prefer my regent for space as i am 6'3" and can stand in any part of that tent. THough i use the double bell on sites where space is limited. I am getting ready to order a fly for the double bell to give it alil more "livingroom" any other questions let me know

you might check on spring valley lodges dbl bell wedge. i owned one for years and was able to set it up by myself in under 20 minutes. they also have brackets for it that make your posts like a big saw horse, sets up even faster then and gives you more useable space inside. spring valley is located in southern wi so the shipping might be cheaper for you as well. just another option for you to try.
