Need parts for Pedersoli Charleville Mle. 1763/66! Help!

The mainspring on a Pedersoli-mfr. Charleville Model 1763/66 flint lock is broken/ snapped. The lock has had a bad battery/steel/"frizzen" replaced. The **** was replaced with a swan-neck by a previous owner, and it doesn't fit right, and in short, needs a factory replacement.

No one seems to have parts?

An all-new Pedersoli flint-lock mechanism/complete new lock for the 1763/66 from VTI in Cape Coral, FL is $400 bucks. I've contacted Ackermann Arms by email, but I have never received a reply. Kindly help me get my .69 caliber flintlock musket working again, please!

Just about anything can be Repaired. It’s just being willing to pay the people with skills, for those skills.

You can buy parts off of the Davide Pedersoli website, I'm not if they ship to the US though.

The mainspring can be replaced rather easily, the **** not so sure and frizzens are often not a snap on fit.

You’ll need someone to fit everything, even some of these pedersoli CNC guns are off by a few thousandths.

I would put 50 as an arbitrary figure on ordering from them yes, because they use UPS.

However their shipping is 45$ on all items, including oversized items like stocks and barrels.

But I’ve ordered things like barrel bands, band springs from them in single orders for around 150 bucks, the parts come finished too.

Its only really good if you buy 150 in parts or more.

The flintcock replacement part the OP needs is probably the most expensive, because the cost will be the ****, jaw and screw … probably 125-150 just for that single part. A complete new lock will cost around 285-325.

Yeap, i woudl get teh replacment lock and then sell of the parts you don’t need, the parts will sell quickly. Or drop in the new lock (if it fits) and sell off the old one.

The trigger spring on my Pedersoli 1861 Springfield broke awhile ago and I couldn't find one anywhere. I contacted Pedersoli and they said that the spring had not been imported to the US for several years. So they said they would send me a spring for free. A few weeks later I received it in the mail. Not saying they would do the same, but maybe able to point you in the right direction.

Good luck! They're nice muskets, I'm sure with some research, you will be back in business! I have a Japanese Charleville, and have left the "JAPAN" mark on the tang purposefully, as I think this marks it as a Miroku (?) which denotes it's high quality.
