If the mainspring is a guided coil spring you only need a pipe cleaner and a pair of pliers to disassemble/assemble. Non-traditional locks, including T/C, use a leaf spring only for the frizzen spring where taped small pliers will do.
 
if it is a leaf spring, just draw the **** to full, clamp the leaf with the vise grips barely compressing the spring.
trip the sear and drop the **** fully. the spring will come right out. if you dissemble the tumbler watch that you don't lose the fly. they were named thusly for one reason!
