From "The Horse Soldier" store in Gettysburg, I ordered a book called "Development of the Paper-Wrapped Musket Cartridge in Colonial America 1640-1841". It was an excellent value at only $15.00 and has a wealth of knowledge on small arms ordnance in Colonial America. There are many quality photographs and diagrams of powder charges, ways that cartridges were made and how they were later bundled for issue to troops in the field. I highly recommend it for anyone who is black powder "nerd", as I proudly am.
