My interest have been gradually moving towards the Civil War so I'd like to add to my Civil War collection. I would like to trade my New England Long Fowler I made years ago. This is a completely one off gun. It has a 55" .62 caliber barrel turned by CLA artisan Dan Fruth. Very lightweight, thinned walled barrel as they should be. The lock is a TRS Early Dutch Lock that I built myself, and altered to suite my taste. The brass butt plate, thimbles, and sidplate are all made by me from brass from an original 18th century brass trade kettle. The trigger guard is a French fusil guard altered by me to match one in Grinslade book. I used gun NE15 on page 47 as a model along with the Roger Lewis Fowler from 1756. Has a walnut stock, that has been heavily aged, as is the metal. It's meant to look like its been hanging over a fireplace since 1760. Gun is just shy of 72" long, and weighs no more than any other fowler. I've shot it with a .610 ball and some tow nest to hold the ball in the barrel with 70 grains of powder. But I rarely took it to the range. I've added several pictures but can take more or answer any questions you may have. I'm open to trades on legit P53 Enfield's, M1842, or assorted carbines. Thanks for looking,

Greg
