Looking to see if there is any interest in this style of flint wallet. I had my wife sew this first one up and I think it looks very nice. It has two layers of heavy duty pillow ticking and is very strong and durable, and will no doubt hold up to years of Hard use. The wallet holds three flints of any size, and the tool pouch holds all of my tools you see in the picture and could hold a few more small ones. On the next few we will use a smaller button. If people seem interested we may sell them. Let me know what you think. And any ideas would be welcome as well. Thank you!

I have made my flint wallets from leather. Your, @Rangefogger, wallet with the space for a good supply of tools and the three flints is nicely thought out. I would prefer a wallet made of leather to one made of ticking. Heavy canvas Duck cloth with the exterior painted might work fairly well. Perhaps linen with an initial on the cover?

You have to ditch the zig-zag stitching. The machine for it was patented in 1873 and wasn't available for home use till 1936. A great idea and I like Grenadier1758's idea of painting (laytex paint works, stays flexible).

You run out of patching you can use some of the wallet. My wife made me a pair of pants from my trade gun patching. Some time later I ran out of patching. Now one leg is shorter than the other. Good idea.

Here is the new and improved one. Ditched the zig zag, smaller button and cleaned up a bit. Might add some waterproofing, perhaps linseed oil/mineral spirits like oilskin, or maybe just paraffin and oil mix.
