I can get pedersoli, t/c, traditions and lyman in the main stream guns in Australia but value reliability of ignition over price. Are any of these better in the lock department than the others or am I better getting a green river rifle works flinter at 3 or 4 times the price?

I own everything except the traditions. I get near perfect ignition from the pedersoli once I drilled the liner out to 5/64. the TC is a hawkens and I get reliable ignition fromit and the lyman both. All three guns are a solid choice for the money.

I have three Lyman flinters and one TC, and they all are reliable and shoot great. Can't comment on the Pedersoli or the Traditions though as I don't have those.
