Hi, my name is Todd and I have lived in the state of Maine for 7 years now comming here to work for the state. Before that I lived in New Hampshire and worked for Thompson Center Arms in several capacities from Supervisor to Custom Shop. I guess this is where I developed my taste for the muzzleloader starting out with the inlines. At TC I went on a hunt with them in PA. for the late flintlock season where I used my first flint lock and missed 14 times that week never touching a hair. Then life happened and divorse set in and I sold most of my guns and moved to Maine.

NOW I want to get back into it. I have wanted to build my own flint lock. I like the full stock American gunmakers versions but since this is my first and my work room isnt all that equipped I am going to start out with a pistol kit first.

Anyway that is a little about me and I look forward to learning.

Hello Todd, and welcome. You have a very interesting background and I wish you well on your quest for a flintlock.

Welcome to the Forum Todd. Sounds like a good plan in starting out with a pistol build. Where abouts in Maine are you located? I spent a lot of time in my youth up around Ossipee NH and in Cornish ME. Many fond memories...
