New guy from Big Sky Country

Howdy all,

New to muzzleloading and new to the forum... I live in NW Montana and am an active bow/rifle hunter, proud father of 3 boys, happy husband, and looking to jump into muzzleloading

Montana just this year started a new traditional muzzleloader season and that got me interested... Hours and hours of YouTube and reading later, I grabbed a Traditions deer hunter on sale this week. Sourcing powder and primers has been a fun job... I have a couple lbs of pyrodex coming and some magnum no. 11s... Looking like that's all I can get for now.

I'm joining up to learn as much as I can and join the community

There used to be a nice BP shop just outside Troy Mt (back in 80s) cant recall name but driving out to it was an adventure ! Had a Black bear cross the road just before getting to the sop.

Guitar played for quite a few years and have a degree in music. Ironically, I was cleaning the nipple on my muzzleloader last night and grabbed a guitar string end... Worked perfect!

She’s chilly this week… 80s sounds nice… but I do like my four seasons
