Hello from Lapeer County MI. Got my first traditional muzzleloader as a kit when I was about 15. Put it together with my dad back then, but finally took a deer with it this past season. And of course, how any addiction works, now I want another one. Ideally, I would like a fowler kit, but my lack of patience and ability, working 40 plus hours a week and two young kids would make a kit not possible at this time. So I'll be saving up for now, and waiting for a flintlock fowler to pop up. Until then, i'll be lurking around here and soaking up info.

Welcome, also in Michigan. There are a couple of good Muzzle Loader clubs near you. They would welcome you with open arms.
