Friends, our 2nd Amendment rights are always under attack and the NRA has been a constant for decades in helping fight that fight.
We have partnered with the NRA to offer you a discount on membership and Muzzleloading Forum gets a small percentage too of each membership, so you are supporting both the NRA and us.
Welcome! - from another 4H muzzleloader instructor in western Montana. Keep sharing your knowledge, training & responsible firearms handling with the young people of Wyoming.
Dang, guys! Thanks. I have been a 4H leader for years an the shotgun side of it. And a fairly serious trapshooter. We ran out of a muzzleloader leader a couple years ago. This year we had 4 kids want to shoot. I was kinda voluntold by my wife and extension agent. Need to get my trigger finger retrained! But i have some good help and great kids, along with support for supplies i need. Now to figure out what to lube patches with.... didnt realize how big of a rabbit hole that was!
Hello/welcome from Encampment Wy. Jackalope gunshop had rechambered a few for me in the past. Actually won the doubles in a shoot there years ago pumping a 31 Rem. Aaaaahhhh youth! Almost never stopped in at the Collage Bar LOL. Had a shop in Kimball Ne back then and was a Firearms Safety Instructor...Trader
This might help get you started: https://www.nmlra.org/store/muzzleloadingguideAnd as a (4H) youth leader, the Boy Scout shooting merit badge guides are very useful.
Kids will definitely find a way of teaching what not to do.
And Never, Ever say;
"Don't ever do this..."
