Hello all, this is my first attempt at making a horn. Here is a picture.

That skinny horn my be acanidate for some turned wooden bands "Carolina Style".
 
that's for true: once you've made one horn, you realize that you need a horn for each gun, then you find out that they make great gifts for all your shooting friends, then all is lost: you are turned to the dark side ...

Scratch, well I call it scratch built, I did not raise or slaughter the steer though, bought the horn from Tandy and got the phenol from Hobby Lobby, attached a 3/8 dowel to the end. The large plug is also from Hobby Lobby, it was a 1" plaque that got cut down. Here is a picture after staining. Sorry about the dirty shop floor!!!!
