Just wanted to say hi, and that this is the best site i've found yet for info on muzzleloading stuff. Ben hunting since I was a kid and had a youth pastor that was big into black powder, who got me interested, then I lost a few years. Well i'm now a few months away from 30 and trying to get back into something to take my mind away from all my wars, and the "PC" (politicaly correct) Army of today, thanks for a great site. From Mid-West Michigan, then split my time between Fort Stewert Georgia, and various places over seas. The forrests and fields of eastern to western Europe are great, I hate any desert that ain't in my own country. Am interested in anythingto do with flintlock, horn making, hawk throwing, etc... am not so woried about period correctness that i'll have a heart attack if it ain't within a few years of where it's supposed to be, although I won't argue that it ain't important for history sake. Just lookin to have fun and get away from so much modern stuff.

I can relate to your statement on losing a few years and a polictial correct Army as I witnessed the transition myself.
Keep in mind on this site PC means "Period Correct" as in time period.
My bulb doesn't burn as bright as it once did. It took me awhile to figure that out :haha:
