I am no gun builder. In fact I suck at it. I am also poor-my wife tells me this everytime she comes back from shopping, with a limited budget for new rifles. I order a Hawken kit from Track of the Wolf. I was hopeing to put it together myself but, It did not work out that way. I know of a gunbuilder in TN. by the name of John Bergmann. He has alot of guns that sell on Track of the Wolf. So, I called him up to see if he would put my kit together for me. I was told he would and it would take 6 to 8 months for him to get to me. I was wanting to use the gun for elk this year as I have a tag in a great unit but, 6 months would be to long to wait. He said the he now has a apprentice that could do it faster and at a better price. John Simmons built the gun in a month abd charged half of what John Bergmann would have. If anyone would like to know his contract info let me know. I will post pics soon

1eyed, Did you get that Bridger with a straight barrel or the tapered barrel? Either way, that's a hefty rifle. Le Grand
