Hi folks,

I've been lurking for a while and soaking up knowledge, and figured I should just go ahead and join. I've had a few cap & ball revolvers and cheap CVA rifles over the years so I'm not new to black powder and muzzleloading, but I've never had a "nice" muzzleloader and never had a flintlock. I'm planning on buying a Kibler Colonial kit soon and would like to add some simple carving to it, so I bought a few chisels and I've been practicing on scrap wood. My plan is to not attempt any carving on the gun until I'm satisfied with my efforts on scrap.

Looking forward to learning more and making some new friends!

Brian
