New to the forum! I have been shooting BP pistols for a few years. Recently retired and have the time to built that 1853 Enfield I've been wanting! The kit arrives in a couple days so I figured I need to get somewhere where folks have a bit more experience than I do, cuz there will be questions!

Welcome from East Anglia, England! I'm looking forward to reading about your P53 kit! Lots of us here shoot either the real thing, the real thing modified [S*i*e*] or a replication of some kind, so there is a lot of help on hand. One of the main problems encountered seems to be the area where the bolster makes inadvertent contact with the lock-plate, but by the time to get to that you'll have asked a gazillion other questions. Pictures help a lot - simple old farts like me like pictures..... :)

Welcome. wouldn't have one of them thar POINT'S for me? know what I MEAN?. I guess that they are rare? lol!!
