Welcome from Virginia, originally NorCal!
Welcome A-aron!!
(I worked with Key and Peel when they both started out)
If you’re in the LA, Ventura or Kern county area come on out to Burbank Muzzleloaders, between Piru and Lake Piru- make a right- can’t miss.
We have everything to get you ahead of the learning curve, and a bunch of cantankerous cranky old farts who have forgotten everything you need to know!
Will the center fire primer maker make the correct size as a #10? because those look much cleaner that a #10 cap cutter with jagged edges...Check out 22 lr reloader for making your own caps. Still one of the best birthday presents I ever got.
No clue. I only have the #11 cap maker. Jagged edges? Sure. But they work. Don't know how they'd work on a revolver though. Will the center fire primer maker make the correct size as a #10? because those look much cleaner that a #10 cap cutter with jagged edges...

Thank you I will reach out to them.I can't control the wind, all I can do is adjust my sails. ~ Semper Paratus
Welcome from the Ozark Mountains.
I've lusted after a Le Mat ever since I first read about them way back in the '60s just never could afford one. If you can find some RWS 1075 caps they will work for both #10 and #11 caps made in Germany and around here there is no shortage of them. I bought a sleeve of 1000 from Flintlocks LLC when they were here for our spring muzzle shoot. Right now their web site is under construction (renovation) but the phone # is still listed so a call might get ya some.

What part of California and what range do you shoot at? I am in the Riverside area and do all my shooting at the Lytle creek rangeHello,
I am new to black powder. I am a competitive shooter with center fire rifles and recently purchased a Le Mat Cavalry .44. I will be looking to buy a few more revolvers and 1 or 2 rifles. I have recently been duped by a web site selling #10 percussion caps because I was so excited to find some available, I lost 150.00. That being said I am unable to shoot my Le Mat until I can find some #10 caps or find some #11 nipples that will fit it.
I also do not want to shoot BP until I can find someone at our range to give me some hands on training ewth BP.
Any way, good to be here so I can learn more about muzzle loading.
Howdy from Arkansas, I was reading an article about some rip off scams going on with caps so you’re not the only one.Hello,
